Although the programs have common management, each program continues to have its own unique qualities to best meet the needs of the families they serve. On June 4, 2017 we broke ground on our new and dedicated Children’s Education Facility at Christ Church. With almost 21,000 sq. feet of educational space The Climbing Tree, Christ Church Preschool, and our Christ Church Children’s Ministries will have a state-of-the-art educational facility.
The Christ Church Preschool began in 1996, with the purpose of offering a faith-based preschool program to meet the needs of our community, and has evolved into a well-known and highly praised program. The Preschool meets in classrooms within the church facility.
The Climbing Tree began in 2001 as a ministry at The Woodlands United Methodist Church. When the church elected to close the Climbing Tree four years later, the staff and the 100+ enrolled families believed the ministry was providing a unique service to the community. In 2005, The Climbing Tree was formally adopted as a vital ministry at Christ Church and relocated to their current facility on the church’s campus.

What makes us special?

• We love and accept each child for who he/she is – a special person created by God.
• We offer some of the lowest teacher to student ratios in the industry.
• We are a non-profit with a goal to serve families, not to make money.
• As a church ministry, we are able to offer additional quality programs leveraging church staff and resources.
